Elnadim, an Irish-based shuttle stallion currently at Derrinstown Stud, was represented by his first winner Wednesday when Wild as Elle won the second race at Keeneland.

Wild as Elle vied for the lead on the rail into the stretch before drawing off under hand urging from jockey Pat Day to win by 4 3/4-lengths as the 2-1 favorite. Out of the Wild Again mare Wild Jewel, Wild as Elle is owned by Team Victory and trained by Ken McPeek. She was purchased for $62,000 at the Keeneland September yearling sale.

Elnadim was bred and campaigned by Shadwell Stable. The 10-year-old son of Danzig won five of 16 career starts, including the group I Darley July Cup. He stood his first season in 2001 at Shadwell Farm near Lexington for $15,000 before being transferred to Derrinstown. He has shuttled to Westbury Stud in New Zealand each of the past three years.
