Turfway To Offer Daily Pick Four Wager

Turfway Park will offer a daily pick four wager, beginning Thursday night. The $1-minimum wager will link races seven through 10 at the Florence, Ky track.

"We are excited about being able to offer the pick four wager to our patrons," said Robert Forbeck, Turfway's director of marketing and communications. "This is a wager they have been asking for. With the popularity of pick three wagering, this is an appealing play with the potential for big profits."

Churchill Downs offered the relatively new wager on Breeders' Cup Day, and Calder Race Course offered an all-stakes pick four on Saturday which paid over $6,000.

The wager was to have debuted at Turfway Wednesday night, but inclement weather forced cancellation of that night's card. Racing continues at Turfway Park until April 5.
