Successful Appeal, was represented by his first winner when his 2-year-old daughter Double D Appeal won a two-furlong race in :21.27 by a head April 7 at Santa Anita. Bred by McKathan Farms, Double D Appeal races for Rusty Brown, Phillip Lebherz, and Richard Meister.
Successful Appeal (Valid Appeal--Successful Dancer, by Fortunate Prospect) was a grade II winner at ages two through four in New York and a career earner of $654,681. He stands for $6,000 at Hartley/De Renzo, Walmac South near Ocala, Fla.
