Wild West, a full brother to leading third-crop sire Grand Slam, will stand his first year at Joseph Vaughan's Ballyvaughan Farm near Oxford, Pa. A winning son of Gone West, Wild West is owned by Pennsylvania Thoroughbreds and is being syndicated. His fee is $2,500 and $2,000 for Pennsylvania-breds,

Five-year-old Wild West is a half-brother to stakes winner Leestown. His dam, Bright Candles (by El Gran Senor), is a multiple stakes winner and grade I-placed.
