Honest Lady To Be Bred to Storm Cat

Juddmonte Farms' Honest Lady finished second in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) in November in her her final start and, according to a Hollywood Park press release, Juddmonte's Dr. John Chandler said the 4-year-old filly will be bred to leading-sire Storm Cat in the upcoming breeding season.

Honest Lady retired with six wins from 15 career starts and earnings of $894,168. The 4-year-old filly won the Santa Monica (gr. I), A Gleam (gr. II), and Distaff Breeders' Cup (gr. II) Handicaps as well as the Santa Ynez Stakes (gr. II). She also finished second in the Metropolitan Handicap (gr. I).

Honest Lady (Seattle Slew--Toussaud, by El Gran Senor) is a half-brother to Arlington Million (gr. IT) winner Chester House.
