Stakes-placed Massachusetts stallion Pappy's Halo's first foal was born March 25 in Shapleigh,Maine.

Jockey Tamy Alpander owns the mare, Okatie.

Owned by Ed and Mike Marcello of Boston, Pappy's Halo stands at Briarhill Farm in Rheoboth, Mass. The son of Saint Ballado is in his second year at stud.
