Trainer George Weaver has shipped Gotham Stakes (gr. III) winner Saratoga County to Keeneland, pointing the son of Valid Expectations to the $325,000, Coolmore Lexington (gr. II) to be run on April 17.

Saratoga County is part of a large contingent of Thoroughbreds Weaver sent to Keeneland.

Never out of the money in five lifetime starts, the pride of Evelyn Pollard's stable finished second behind the ill-fated Wynn Dot Comma in the Spectacular Bid Stakes (gr. III). Subsequently third to Limehouse and Deputy Storm in the Hutcheson Stakes (gr. III) at Gulfstream Park, he then posted his Gotham victory over Pomeroy and Eddington at Aqueduct.

Fans will want to keep an eye out for another Weaver trainee when the 2-year-olds take to the track – Dogwood Stable's 2004 Aiken Trial winner Big Bamboozle, a son of Mazel Trick. Last spring Dogwood Stable unleashed 2003 Aiken Trial winner Limehouse at Keeneland. The Todd Pletcher trainee paid $11 for the first-out victory.

Limehouse, winner of the Hutcheson Stakes and Tampa Bay Derby this year, is considered a probable starter in the $750,000 Toyota Blue Grass (gr. I), to be run on April 10.
