The TV Games Network, The Race For Education, and the National Thoroughbred Racing Association have joined forces to create a three-month summer internship with TVG's production department for a college sophomore or junior studying broadcasting or journalism.

The full-time internship in Los Angeles is sponsored by the NTRA and administered by The Race For Education. It will last from June through August 2004 and include a day spent in the Hollywood Park press box. The NTRA will provide a stipend to cover living costs.

Applications for the TVG internship will be accepted from April 1-15 and can be found at The Race For Education Web site (www.racingscholarships.com). The winner will be announced on TVG in early May.

TVG and The Race For Education representatives will select the intern based on the relevance of the student's studies and academic achievement. The Race For Education is a national education scholarship foundation funded by various parties related to, or with an interest in the Thoroughbred racing industry.
