Offspring of Yankee Victor, Devil's Bag Among Fastest Texas Workers

Three horses tied for the fastest workout time for an eighth of a mile Sunday during the under tack show for the Fasig-Tipton Texas sale of 2-year-olds in training at Lone Star Park. Stopping the clock in :10 were a Relagate -- Fintry filly named Inheritress, a Yankee Victor -- Marablue Beauty colt, and a Devil's Bag -- Red Cascade filly. Thoroughbred Exchange is the consignor of the Yankee Victor colt and the Devil's Bag filly. Inheritress is consigned by Inside Move.

The fastest workers at a quarter mile, turning in a time of :21, were a Valid Expectations -- City Hideaway colt named Majestic Hideaway, an Out of Place -- Ersatz filly, and a Woodman -- Riviera Colleen colt. Asmussen Horse Center, agent is the consignor of Majestic Hideaway. Steephollow Farms, agent, is the consignor of the Out of Place filly. Thoroughbred Exchange consigns the Woodman colt.

A Dixieland Band -- Madam Moyra colt named Johnny U turned in the fastest three-furlong work, covering the distance in 33 4/5. His consignor is Pre-K Training Center, agent.

The sale is scheduled for Tuesday, beginning at 10 a.m. (CST).
