Graded Winner Cellars Shiraz Retired; Booked to Silver Charm

Graded stakes winner Cellars Shiraz has been retired from racing with $728,410 in earnings and is booked to
Silver Charm. The 5-year-old daughter of
Kissin Kris raced in the name of Bitterroot Investments as a homebred for Robert and Corinne Walker.
A Florida-bred, Cellars Shiraz won seven stakes the year she was honored as the state's best 3-year-old filly in 2002. Her victories included a grade III win in the Herecomesthebride Stakes on grass at Gulfstream Park. Cellars Shiraz, who was produced from the Band Practice mare Cellar's Best. also was a stakes winner in 2003 and retired with 10 wins from 32 starts while trained by Bill Cesare.
