Equine Surgery Fund Established in Memory of John Russell

An equine surgery fund has been established in the name of the late trainer John W. Russell for the Tranquility Farm, a California-based retirement facility, has established an equine surgery fund in the name of the late trainer John W. Russell.
Donations made to Tranquility Farm will be assigned to the John W. Russell Memorial Surgical Fun. It will be used to provide surgical care for racehorses retired to Tranquility Farm.
Said Patricia Clark, president of Tranquility Farm: "The Board of Tranquility Farm is most grateful to Diane Russell and to John's many friends in racing worldwide for helping us to perpetuate his compassion for the horses."
