Shotiche, one of some two dozen sons of the great Northern Dancer remaining at stud, has been purchased by Eugene and Rita Boehlke for stallion duty at their Boehlke Farm near Waverly, Minn. A course-record-setting graded stakes winner, Shotiche has sired grade II winner Associate and multiple stakes winner Julie's Witt, plus nine stakes-placed runners. Eighteen-year-old Shotiche, who was produced from the Cyane mare Nimble Folly, stands for $1,000. He formerly stood at Timber Creek Farm in Iowa.
