Darby Dan Farm announced that champion producer Sonada and grade I winner Plenty of Grace are among the first mares in foal to Aldebaran.

Sonada, by Quick Decision, is the dam of Chilean Horse of the Year and multiple U.S. grade I winner Lido Palace. Plenty of Grace, by Roberto, won the Yellow Ribbon Invitational Stakes (gr. IT) and four other graded turf stakes.

A millionaire and last year's champion sprinter, 6-year-old Aldebaran (Mr. Prospector -- Chimes of Freedom, by Private Account) stands for $50,000 at Darby Dan near Lexington.
