Multiple graded stakes winner Windsor Castle has been purchased by Jim Casey for stallion duty at the owner's Taylor Mountain Farm near Charles Town, W.Va. Six-year-old Windsor Castle (Lord Carson--Frigidette, by It's Freezing) was retired recently by Dogwood Stable (Cot Campbell president). His fee has not been determined.

Windsor Castle won or placed in 11 stakes, all of which were graded. He captured the Remsen Stakes (gr. II) as a 2-year-old in 2000 and two graded stakes in 2003. His stakes-placings included efforts in the Dwyer Stakes (gr. II) and Meadowlands Cup Handicap (gr. II). He was retired with six wins from 29 races and earnings of $591,715.
