Turf Paradise Returns to Action; Cactus Rescheduled

Racing at Turf Paradise was canceled Saturday due to unsuitable track conditions. The $40,000 Cactus Handicap was rescheduled for March 12.
The main track for Sunday was listed as "good" and racing was back on schedule.
Heavy rains hit the Phoenix area on Wednesday and Thursday. The track ran the first four races Friday, but after an accident, decided conditions merited cancellation of the remainder of the card. Officials met Saturday and decided to cancel the full card.
