Turfway Cancels Sunday's Card; Wintergreen Stakes Rescheduled

Edited from a releaseTurfway Park has canceled live racing for Sunday, March 7, citing track conditions. Simulcasting continues as scheduled.
The cancellation is the ninth such whole-card decision made since the Winter/Spring Meet began Jan. 1 and the third consecutive day that track conditions have forced cancellation of races. Live racing was canceled mid-card on Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6.
The $50,000 Wintergreen Stakes, lost to Saturday's mid-card cancellation, has been rescheduled for Friday, March 12. Nominations will close tomorrow, Monday, March 8, at noon ET, with entries drawn Wednesday, March 10.
Entries for the $50,000 Tejano Run Stakes, already scheduled for Saturday, March 13, will be drawn Thursday, March 11, as usual.
