Sunday Break Gets First Mare in Foal

Graham J. Beck's Gainesway Farm announced that Careless Flirt is the first mare in foal to grade II winner Sunday Break. A daughter of Seattle Slew, Careless Flirt is grade II stakes-placed and is a half-sister to the granddam of millionaire and Canadian champion Perfect Soul.

Sunday Break (Forty Niner--Catequil, by Storm Cat) won the Peter Pan Stakes (gr. II) and his stakes-placings include a third-place finish in the Belmont Stakes (gr. I). His fee at Gainesway near Lexington is $8,500.
