Trainer Bob Baffert signed the ticket at $435,000 for a Quality Road   colt that was the early co-topper at the March 15 first session of the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co.'s sale of 2-year-olds in training.

Bred in Kentucky by Thoro-Bred Stables, the colt consigned as Hip 31 by Eddie Woods, agent, had been purchased by Bradley Thoroughbreds for $140,000 from the Gainesway consignment to the 2015 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July sale. The colt was produced from the stakes-placed Dixie Union mare Inventive.

Also purchased for $435,000 by WinStar and the China Horse Club was a colt from the first crop of Bodemeister   out of the winning A.P. Indy mare Indy's Windy, a half sister to two stake winners including champion 3-year-old filly Banshee Breeze.

The colt consigned as Hip 27 by Hoppel's Horse & Cattle Company had been bred in Kentucky by WinStar and was purchased by Select Sales for $180,000 at the 2015 Keeneland September yearling sale.
