Magna 5 Pays $205,703 Saturday

The Magna 5, a $2 pick five wager linking races from four Magna Entertainment racetracks in an hour, paid $205,703 to two winners Saturday. The winning tickets were purchased from the Philadelphia Park hub and Richmond, VA offf-track facility.
The payout was by far the largest yet for the new bet. The previous high was $13,928 when it debuted Jan. 31.
For the first time in its five-week history, total Magna 5 handle declined Saturday to $527,444. It's previous peak of $608,823 was reached on Feb. 21.
The winners were Bagitdon'tchargeit ($9.20) in a 3-year old claimer for fillies at Laurel Park; Personal Touch ($16.20) in an allowance test at Gulfstream Park; Quillota ($69.20) in a starter allowance at Golden Gate; Amiable Amy ($13.80) in an allowance sprint at Santa Anita; and Binya ($6.20) in the The Very One Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Gulfstream.
