Jockey Ryan Fogelsonger took off all eight of his mounts Saturday at Laurel Park, citing soreness from a fall in Thursday's eighth race.

Fit To Kill broke down in the incident, tossing the rider.

The 22-year old rode five horses on Friday's card, including a winner in the opener.

He returned to Maryland two weeks ago after a six-month stint in Southern California and has eight victories in 10 days.

In other Maryland jockey news, Rick Wilson underwent surgery on his right leg Friday. The 50-year old broke the leg in a spill at Pimlico in October 2002 and missed 54 weeks.

Since returning the veteran rider has won 151 races and now ranks 20th on the all-time national win list, just 72 wins shy of 5,000 for his career. Wilson expects to be back in two to four weeks, according to his agent John Salzman Jr.
