The first foal for the stallion Max's Pal is a filly born Feb. 8 at Roy Lerman's Lambholm South near Reddick, Fla. Bred by Junior Serna, the filly is the third foal from the Polish Numbers' mare Annie's Sister. A nine-time stakes winner, Max's Pal (Marquetry--Singin Up a Storm, by Storm Cat) stands for $2,500 at the farm.

John and Jerry Amerman's graded stakes winner Printemps is the first mare pronounced in foal to millionaire and grade I winner Lido Palace, who stands at Lambholm. Lido Palace and Printemps were both champions in Chile before winning graded stakes in the U.S. for the Amermans. Lido Palace (Rich Man's Gold--Sonada, by Quick Decision) stands for $8,500. Printemps (Hussonet--Wrist, by Worldwatch) was retired after the 2003 racing season.
