Gill Continues to Play Claim Game at Fair Grounds

Since making his first claim of Sunkosi for $25,000 at Fair Grounds on Feb. 2, owner Michael Gill has claimed 16 horses for a total of $438,500.
The most expensive claim Gill, whose Fair Grounds stable is trained by Gamaliel Vasquez, was the $65,500 for Gracie's Dancer last Saturday.
Through racing of Feb. 22, Gill was the nation's leading owner with stable earnings of $1,42,528, according to Equibase statistics.
