Spectacular Lisa seeks to make it two in a row for her trainer in Saturday's $100,000 Chou Croute Handicap at Fair Grounds. Mike Stidham took last year's running with Ifyouprefersilver, who took the contest in front-running fashion by nine lengths.

Spectacular Lisa enters off an impressive victory in the $40,000 Houston Distaff at Sam Houston Park last month. The daughter of Formal Gold has won both starts since moving to Stidham's care.

California shipper Tropical Blossom figures to take plenty of action. The now 6-year-old mare was last seen winning a listed stakes at Golden Gate Fields in Nobember and has faced top notch competition such as Azeri in the past.

Golden Sonata won the first distaff stakes at Fair Grounds in the $50,000 Truly Bound Handicap in January, and has won two in a row.

The Chou Croute lineup, in post position order with jockeys:

1) Took Out (Corey Lanerie)
2) Spirited Maiden (Calvin Borel)
3) Golden Sonata (Gerard Melancon)
4) Tropical Blossom (E.J. Perrodin)
5) Princess Pelona (Larry Melancon)
6) Playa Maya (Jose Martinez Jr.)
7) Salty Farma (Eddie Martin Jr.)
8) Spectacular Lisa (Robby Albarado)
