Longtime Jockey Agent Dominguez Dies

Juan A. Dominguez Sr. died Sunday morning after a brief illness. In Dominguez's long career as a jockey agent, he handled the book for riders such as Eddie Maple, Miguel Rivera, Ruben Hernandez, and Eclipse Award winning apprentice Ramon Perez.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at Holy Road Cemetery in Westbury, New York, following a mass to be held at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in Valley Stream, New York. Visitation will take place from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m Monday and Tuesday at Krauss Funeral Home in Franklin Square, New York.
