Good and Tough filly posted fastest eighth of a mile time during Under Tack show Sunday.
A chestnut filly sired by grade II winner Good and Tough zipped an eighth of a mile in a quick 9 4/5 seconds as she posted the fastest time at the distance during Sunday's Under Tack show for Fasig-Tipton Florida selected sale of 2-year-olds in training that will be held at Calder Race Course on Feb. 24.

In the first of two Under Tack shows that will be held at Calder prior to the sale, three juveniles shared the best time of 21 1/5 seconds for a quarter-mile work.

The Good and Tough filly, produced from the Fair Skies mare Two Foxie, a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Foxie G., is consigned to the sale by Robert N. Scanlon. The filly was bred in Maryland.

The best quarter-mile times were turned in by an Anees filly, a Not For Love   colt, and a colt sired by Wild Wonder.

Consigned by Becky Thomas' Sequel Bloodstock, the New York-bred Anees filly was produced from the winning Housebuster mare Dither, a half-sister to grade III winner Move and stakes winner Falling Sky.

The Not For Love colt, consigned by M & H Training Stables, was also bred in Maryland and is out of the stakes-placed Phone Trick mare Gala Goldie's Best, a winning half-sister to multiple stakes winners Gala Goldilocks and Gala de Oro.

Consigned by Jessie and Stacy Longoria, the Wild Wonder colt is out of Grannies Feather, an unraced daughter of At Full Feather who is a half sister to stakes winner Grannie's Wayne.

The second Under Tack show will be held Feb. 22.
