Edited release from Turfway Park
Once again citing track conditions compromised by fluctuating temperatures and resultant uneven thawing, Turfway Park has cancelled live racing for today, Saturday, Feb. 14. The track remains open for simulcasting.

Featured on the Saturday card were the $50,000 Dust Commander Stakes and the $50,000 Lively Exchange Stakes, the latter rescheduled from last Saturday when racing was halted after completion of the ninth race. The Likely Exchange will not be rescheduled again. The Dust Commander has been rescheduled for next Saturday, Feb. 21. Nominations will close Wednesday, Feb. 18, with entries on Thursday.

The cancellation is the fourth whole-card cancellation in a row and the eighth overall since the winter/spring meet began January 1. The track also has cancelled mid-card four times since the beginning of the meet, most recently last Sunday when three of 10 races were completed.
