Aqueduct's leading trainer Richard Dutrow, Jr. was warned and cleared during a Friday meeting with stewards to discuss the circumstances that caused him to scratch all four of his runners off last Sunday's program.
Dutrow was in Florida over the weekend when his assistant phoned stewards to scratch all of Sunday's entries because of a medication error that could have resulted in clenbuterol positives.
Friday the stewards warned Dutrow and made him aware that he is still the trainer of record and responsibility even while he is overseeing his Florida string.
Dutrow entered Friday with a commanding, 33-15 lead over Bruce Levine in the race for leading trainer honors at Aqueduct's winter meet.
