Krone Declines Thursday Assignments

Julie Krone, citing body soreness from her first day of riding Wednesday after an absence of nearly two months, canceled her scheduled commitments on Thursday.
The 40-year-old Hall of Fame jockey had been named on two horses, 8-5 morning line favorite Deeliteful Topper in the second race and 6-1 shot Alozaina in the seventh.
Krone was winless in three races Wednesday, her first day back since suffering chest injuries in a fall at Hollywood Park.
She is named on four horses Saturday.
