Saturday's Silverbulletday Stakes (gr. II) is an appropriate one for Valentine's Day. It features seven 3-year-old fillies, and one amorous exacta hunch bet.

Movant, the winner of the Jan. 3 Thelma Stakes and runner-up in the Jan. 23 Dixie Belle Stakes at Oaklawn Park, is the early favorite and highweight for the 8 1/2 furlong Silverbulletday. She will carry 122 pounds, including Calvin Borel, and will go postward for trainer Tom Amoss.

Movant is a homebred daughter of Conquistador Cielo racing for Richard Griffin. She's run unplaced only once in six starts to date. This will be her first try going 8 1/2 furlongs, but she did break her maiden going seven furlongs at Churchill Downs.

Second in the weights is Love Power, one half of the Valentine's Day hunch exacta for the Silverbulletday. Also entered is He Loves Me. The two are program numbers seven and six, respectively, and seem appropriate for the holiday.

Bobby Barnett trains Love Power for breeder/owner Buckingham Farm. The Not For Love filly finished third in last year's Maryland Million Lassie Stakes and ran sixth in her last start, but Jan. 25 Tiffany Lass Stakes.

Another filly to watch is Quick Temper, a daughter of multiple stakes winners A.P. Indy and Halo America. Owner Mark Stanley purchased the filly as a weanling for $290,000 from her breeders John Franks and John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms. This is her third start. Quick Temper broke her maiden going 8 1/2 furlong in November at Churchill Downs. She finished second in her only start this year, a Jan. 19 Gulfstream Park allowance at the same distance.
