Candy Ride Records Three-Furlong Breeze

Undefeated Candy Ride had his first official workout Wednesday since winning the Pacific Classic (gr. I) last August, breezing three furlongs under exercise rider Patrick Dalton in :36 at Santa Anita.
"He went super," said trainer Ron McAnally, who had the Argentine-bred going a quarter mile. Santa Anita clockers timed Candy Ride in :24 2/5 for the quarter.
McAnally has not announced which race Candy Ride will return in.
