SIPHONIZER (10th by 23 lengths). He had a myectomy performed after the Juvenile in an effort to prevent him from flipping his palate, which his connections said they believed hindered his performance in both the grade II Norfolk Stakes and the Juvenile. The Richard Mandella-trained SIPHONIZER isn't active on the worktab at this time, wasn't nominated to the Triple Crown, and isn't on the Derby trail.

MAMBO TRAIN (11th by 30 lengths). Talk about most improved in the class, that's MAMBO TRAIN after winning the 1 1/16 mile Turf Paradise Derby on 2-7, when he beat PERFECT MOON by 2 1/2 lengths. PERFECT MOON was the 1-2 chalk. This is either a good sign for MAMBO TRAIN, who went in 1:42.07, or a bad one for PERFECT MOON. Time will tell.

CUVEE (12th by 58 lengths). The Juvenile was his first effort at two turns, and it showed. He's been in rehab following ankle surgery.
