Turfway Cancels Remainder of Racing Sunday

Citing track conditions, Turfway Park cancelled races 4-10 on Sunday's 10-race card. Three races were completed without incident. Racing is scheduled to resume Wednesday, February 11, at 5:30 p.m.
The cancellation is the fourth mid-card cancellation to hit the Northern Kentucky track since its winter/spring meet began Jan. 1. The track also has canceled four whole cards, three for weather-related causes and one, on Feb. 5, out of respect for jockey Michael Rowland, who was critically injured at the track last Wednesday in a spill and remains hospitalized.
Weather caused cancellations at Beulah Park, Charles Town, and Philadelphia Park on Saturday.
