Graded stakes winner and stakes producer Withallprobability and her grade III-winning daughter With Ability died last month. Both were owned by Edward Evans Spring Hill Farm, near Casanova, Va.Farm manager Chris Baker said 16-year-old Withallprobability died Jan. 14 at Kentucky Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with laminitis. With Ability, a 6-year-old A.P. Indy mare, died Jan. 31 after fracturing a pastern.With Ability was sent to Blue Ridge Equine Clinic after trouble foaling a Giant's Causeway foal, which she lost. The clinic attempted to surgically correct a fracture in With Ability's leg but she later died.Will Farish bred Withallprobability, a daughter of Mr. Prospector out of the grade III winning Northern Dancer mare Sulemif. Trainer D. Wayne Lukas purchased her for $635,000 at the 1989 Keeneland September yearling sale from the consignment of her breeder's Lane's End Farm.Withallprobability won nine of 27 starts, including the 1991 Bonnie Miss and Forward Gal Breeders' Cup stakes, both grade II. She earned $643,438.Withallprobability also produced Probable Colony, the dam of grade I winner Summer Colony. Probable Colony is in foal to Stormin Fever and will visit Storm Cat this year. Summer Colony was retired in October 2003 with career earnings of $1,448, 930. She is scheduled to visit Gone West this year. The last reported foal out of Withallprobability is a 2-year-old full brother to With Ability, Uncertain, who is currently in training in Aiken, S.C.Mark Hennig trained With Ability to a career record of 19-7-4-2 with lifetime earnings of $558,124. She retired in 2003. Her biggest wins came in the 2002 Sixty Sails and Next Move Handicaps, both grade III.
