McCarron Receives Broadcasters' Award

Santa Anita vice president and general manager Chris McCarron received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern California Sports Broadcasters at their 13th annual awards banquet Monday at Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank.
The Hall of Fame jockey joins previous recipients John Wooden, Gene Autry, Jim Murray, Tommy Lasorda, Dr. Jerry Buss, Chuck Benedict and Stan Spero.
