With Anticipation, returns from lengthy layoff Thursday.
Hall of Fame jockey Pat Day, who has not ridden since late November, is scheduled to return to competition at Florida's Gulfstream Park on Thursday . Among the three horses on which Day has been named for Thursday's card is Augustin Stables' With Anticipation, who is also returning from a hiatus.

Day, 50, last rode on Nov. 26, 2003, and then underwent shoulder surgery to repair a rotator cuff injury. In an effort to prepare for his return to the saddle, Day has been exercising horses in the mornings at Gulstream Park.

Trained by Hall of Famer Jonathan Sheppard, multiple grade I winner With Anticipation has not raced since last July 9 and has been with Sheppard at Camden, S. C. Last week, the nearly white 9-year-old gelding was shipped to Gulfstream Park for Thursday's race. A field of seven has been entered in the conditioned allowance race at the distance of about one mile on turf.
