Barretts March Catalogue Includes 53 Thoroughbred Corp. Horses

Barretts has catalogued 175 horses for the regular portion of its March sale of 2-year-olds in training in Southern California. The number is down 15.9% from last year's total of 208. Sires represented in this year's group include A.P. Indy, Giant's Causeway, Seattle Slew, and Sadler's Wells. In addition, the auction will offer 53 head (including five juveniles) in a dispersal of horses of racing age by The Thoroughbred Corp.

The sale is scheduled for March 2 at Fairplex Park, beginning at 1:30 p.m. (PST) with The Thoroughbred Corp.'s horses. Under tack shows will be held on Monday, Feb. 23, and Sunday, Feb. 29, starting at 10 a.m. (PST) each day.
