II), a $500,000 event that serves as one of the key Kentucky steppingstones to the May 1 Kentucky Derby (gr. I). On Feb. 28, Turfway offers the $100,000 John Battaglia Memorial Stakes for 3-year-olds.Silver Minister, bred in Kentucky by Twin Hopes Farm and trained by Greg Foley, has two wins and two seconds in four career starts.
