The first foal sired by multiple stakes winner Captain Countdown is a filly born Jan. 24 at Charlie Ham's Hamton Farm near Montalba, Texas. Bred by Robert Francis, the filly is out of stakes-placed Abner Lenore (by Lines of Power). Captain Countdown (Relaunch--Bearly Cooking, by Really Cooking) stands for $1,500 at Hamton.
