Denise Larson has been named Arlington Park's director of guest services. Larson will report directly to Arlington Park Vice President of Operations Ted Nicholson. In her new role, Larson will direct and manage Arlington Park's guest services department with a focus on all aspects of customer relationships and service levels. In addition, she will work closely with all other track departments on programs directed toward guest satisfaction. Her duties will include on-going customer service training with Arlington employees as well as direct interaction with customers at the track during the live meet and at Trackside OTBs year-round. Most recently, she served as client services and project manager for Data Return, LLC an international hosting and application services...With his victory in the Padua Stables Sprint Stakes, Shake You Down became the first Florida-bred to attain millionaire status in 2004. His lifetime bankroll to date of $1,163,560 also made him the 85th Florida-bred millionaire. Bred by Ocala Stud Farm, Shake You Down races for Robert L. Cole Jr. and is trained by Scott Lake. The 6-year-old gelding scored four graded wins in 2003, including the Bold Ruler Handicap (gr. III), Gravesend Handicap (gr. III), Smile Sprint Handicap (gr. III) and True North Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. III).
