Due to inclement weather, the Virginia Thoroughbred Association's annual stallion season auction has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 10, and Wednesday, February 11.

"The good news is that, over the next two weeks, the auction will be adding more new stallions to the already extensive list," said Mark Deane, the VTA's auction coordinator. "The farms and donors have given us a great response to our offer of naming a Colonial Downs stakes race after their farm or stallion--it has been a really nice donor incentive for top-dollar stallions."

An updated list of stallion seasons available can be viewed at the VTA website, www.vabred.org. The VTA's phone number is (540) 347-4313.
