Stakes-Placed Bay Head King to Buena Suerte in New Mexico

Bay Head King, a multiple stakes-placed son of Saint Ballado, will enter stud at Dr. Leonard Blach's Buena Suerte Equine near Roswell, N.M. A $320,000 Keeneland April 2-year-old, Bay Head King ran second in the Gallant Bob Handicap and third in the Fred "Cappy" Capossela Stakes. He won his last two starts, both at Belmont Park, and was retired with six wins from 15 starts and earnings of $210,713. Bay Head King, who was produced from the stakes-winning Meadowlake mare Meadow Silk, will stand for $2,000.
