Flatbird Stable's 7-year-old Peeping Tom got a favorable pace scenario Saturday afternoon, then showed his courage against determined Don Six to score a head victory in the $83,025 Paumonok Handicap for 3-year-olds and up at Aqueduct.
Peeping Tom's winning time for the six furlongs was 1:10 2/5.
It was the 13th win of Peeping Tom's 43-race career, and ended a three-race losing streak.
Ridden by Ariel Smith, who saved ground while stalking the pace, Peeping Tom paid $23.40, $8.60 and $6.50.
The Eagle Eyed gelding won for the first time in two starts this year and earned $49,875. Patrick Reynolds trains the winner.
Don Six returned $6.80 and $5.40, and Super Fuse paid $6.20 to show.
