Grade I winner Buddha's First Foal Born at Pennston in Florida

The first reported foal sired by grade I winner Buddha is a filly born Jan. 17 at John Penn's Pennston Farm near Ocala, Fla. Bred by the farm, the filly is a half-sister to millionaire License Fee and is out of the Deputy Minister mare Star Deputy, who is booked to Essence of Dubai. Buddha (Unbridled's Song--Cahooters, by Storm Cat) won the Wood Memorial Stakes (gr. I).
Buddha, winner of the 2002 Wood Memorial Stakes (gr. I), stands at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington for a $15,000 fee in 2004.
