Millionaire and grade II winner Express Tour, who won all three of the stakes in the Florida Stallion Series for 2-year-old males in 2000, has arrived for stallion duty at Roy Lerman's Lambholm South near Reddick, Fla. He will stand for Lerman in partnership for a fee of $2,500.

Bred by Karen Silva, Express Tour captured the Affirmed (by 11 1/2 lengths), Dr. Fager, and In Reality Stakes in the Florida Stallion Series for A. Clare "Butch" Silva Jr. The Maktoum family's Godolphin then bought Express Tour privately for an amount close to $1 million and sent him to Dubai to be prepared for the classics.

Express Tour won the group III U.A.E. Derby in March of 2001, but finished unplaced in the Kentucky Derby (gr. I). In September, he won the Jerome Handicap (gr. II) at Belmont Park. The following September, he ran third in the Woodward Stakes (gr. I), won by Lido Palace, who now stands at Lambholm South.

Six-year-old Express Tour (Tour d'Or--Express Fashion, by Private Express) retired with five wins from 14 starts and earnings of $1,767,515.
