Grade II Winner Pure Prize's First Foal

The first reported foal for grade II winner Pure Prize is a filly born Jan. 18 at Carrie Brogden's Machmer Hall near Paris, Ky. Bred by Barbara Radcliffe, the filly is the third foal from the stakes-placed Sunny's Halo mare Annie's Halo.
Pure Prize, by Storm Cat out of champion Heavenly Prize (by Seeking the Gold), won the Kentucky Cup Classic Handicap (gr. II) on the way to earning $475,459. He stands for $7,500 at Dr. Tom Simon's Vinery near Lexington.
