Ohio Derby Winner Among Sovereign Award Finalists

Stronach Stable's Milwaukee Brew, winner of the Ohio Derby (gr. II) and third in the Haskell Inviational, is among the three finalists for a Sovereign Award as top 3-year-old colt or gelding in Canada this year. The two other finalists in the category are Scatter the Gold and Kiss a Native.
The Jockey Club of Canada has released the names of the three Sovereign Award finalists in each divisional category. The winners will be announced at the time of presentation at the Sovereign Awards dinner on Dec. 15 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto.
The finalists, listed in alphabetical order, are:
