The cold winter temperatures that have hit the Northeast have forced Aqueduct to cancel racing for Friday. The track will be open Saturday with a $761,021 Pick Six carryover.

Next week, Aqueduct will race Monday, a special holiday card on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, be dark on Tuesday, and resume racing for the week on Wednesday.

Wednesday was originally scheduled to be a dark day.

Others tracks that have already announced the cancellation of racing Friday are Charles Town and Philadelphia Park.
