Aqueduct's Pick Six pool went unclaimed for the fourth consecutive race day on Wednesday, setting up a carryover pool in excess of $750,000.

The full carryover of $761,021.46 is the largest in the history of Aqueduct, and the third largest in the history of the New York Racing Association. It is the largest since 1990 at Saratoga.

Heading into the last leg on Wednesday, 14 tickets remained alive with 3/2 favorite Festy Eskimo. But he failed to get by 27-1 shot Le Renard Subtil, and eventually lost by 3/4 of a length. Fifty-one consolation tickets containing five winners each returned $3,203.

Because of bitter cold temperatures and the chance for snow forecast for the New York area on Thursday, track management has already elected to cancel Thursday's card. That means the earliest the Pick Six carryover can take effect is Friday.
