Orientate, sprinting to victory in the Commonwealth Breeders' Cup Stakes at Keeneland.
Champion Orientate's first foal, a colt, was born Jan.14 at Garland Williamson's farm in Ontario, Canada.

The colt is the first foal from stakes-placed Ma Kitty (by Meadowlake), who is a half-sister to grade II winner Sagasious and California stakes winner Miss Dominique. Ma Kitty won two of 17 starts and earned $159,644.

The champion sprinter of 2002, Orientate won 10 of 19 starts and earned $1,716,950. Included in his victories were the NAPA Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) and Forego Handicap (gr. I) during his championship season of 2002.

A 6-year-old son of Mt. Livermore--Dream Team, by Cox's Ridge, Orientate stands at Graham J. Beck's Gainesway Farm near Lexington, Ky. His stud fee is $25,000.
