The burial of prominent Thoroughbred owner-breeder William T. Young will be conducted in private, with no visitation planned.

Young, who parlayed his business acumen into success with Overbrook Farm in Lexington, Ky., died Monday at age 85.

According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, Young died from an apparent heart attack while attending a gathering at the Gulfstream Golf Club in Delray Beach, Fla. The newspaper reported that Young had introduced Jim McKay, the sportscaster and Young's friend invited to the event by Young, when he collapsed. EMT personnel were unable to revive Young and he never regained consciousness, according to the newspaper report, as related by Young's son, William T. Young Jr.

In addition to the private services and burial, the Young family has requested there be no flowers or charitable contributions, according to the Herald-Leader.
